Today and yesterday, my Best Body Bootcamp workouts were accompanied by some of my favorite tunes. I’m not an expert at beats per minute, but I know what gets me moving.
I call this mix “Jack Daniels”…. because I first enjoyed these melodies over ice….in a Solo cup….in college. I don’t have room for those calories on My Fitness Pal during bootcamp, but I can still rock out!
Dead Flowers – Rolling Stones (WARM-UP)
Takin’ It As It Comes – Jerry Jeff Walker
Drinkin’ My Baby Goodbye – The Charlie Daniels Band
Livingston Saturday Night – Jimmy Buffet
Rock & Roll Never Forgets – Bob Seger
Already Gone – The Eagles
Fat Bottomed Girls – Queen
Ain’t No God in Mexico – Waylon Jennings (COOL DOWN)
You rock!
You know it! 😀
I love hearing about the tunes people work out to. I am running with a podcast which has set music and times your runs and walks so I can’t choose my tunes but as a soon as I have completed the programme, I will be making a running playlist.
Thanks! I love reading other people’s lists, too — brings to mind songs I’ve forgotten about…or new tunes to love.
fat bottomed girls is one of my favorite songs…probably ever….i’m more into indie rock and alt country and all kinds of stuff….but i still love me some queen!
I listen (or have listened in the past) to just about anything you can think of, and different genres relate to different points in life, but some things, like Queen, are timeless! 🙂
