As soon as I picked up the boys this afternoon, we headed to our local yogurt bar and treated ourselves to custom sundaes (here’s a clue; mine is the one without the gummy worms!).
After we finished our snack, we headed next door to a brand new pet store – a friendly “one-of” place, not a chain, called Uptown Petz, and I let the boys both pick out a toy to buy for Bailey. They picked out a big yellow “stick” and a blue rubber pheasant with a rope attached. Very cool. Bailey loved them and they spent the afternoon running up and down the front hall throwing the toys for him to fetch while I indulged in a little of this… 
Good start to the long weekend!
